How To Wear Black Clothing

The first thing you need to know about black is that it is a very powerful color, it sends out the strongest message, and it is the essence of simplicity. Black is a very saturated and serious color that removes all distractions and brings all eyes to the most basic elements of the garment, such as cut, style, ruffles, fabrics, and the character of the owner of the garment. Black can make the wearer stand out from the background, like a chase light, highlighting the wearer's face, body shape, and exposed parts.

Sexy, edgy, and mysterious, black is the color of the night, our urban mask when it matters. If an occasion calls for our radiance and taste, we choose black and elegant clothes. Black also has an unparalleled effect, black can be thin as if we went to training camp for a month (but without any pain). Black dresses are really hot and sexy recently.

While black was once revered by the likes of Coco Chanel as a symbol of the avant-garde, today it's not so edgy, it's just a neutral. I want black to go back to where it was and save them from being unfairly punished. Black two piece sets are also amazing. You can have a try on them.

How To Wear Black Clothing

First, let me introduce a few situations in which black cannot be worn. Black is not a neutral color to wear on any occasion, not meaningless, and not a hodgepodge of textures, fabrics, and styles. Black is not a cloak that makes us invisible, nor is it the color of choice when relaxing.

However, many times black can make people invisible and unnoticed. When we don't want to dress up, or when we want to disappear into the background, if we're wearing a faded cardigan and baggy yoga pants, black becomes a rag bag we casually slip-on. But remember, hiding is not life. (And it doesn't work, as I've already said.)

When we hide with color, fabric, or cut, it just draws more attention to the clothes we're wearing. Because black is inherently more elegant and striking, hiding in black will only do you a disservice.

Black is the color that surprises us. Only when we choose black consciously can it create a stunning effect, just like any other clothes we wear. One of the main points I hope to tell you through this book is that there can be no holes in what you wear. All clothes have a meaning, and so does black, and so do other colors.

How To Wear Black Clothing

Since black is so clean and saturated if there's one thing black wearers need to pay more attention to, it's the clothes themselves. What I'm trying to say is that all black clothes should, or look upscale. Clothes look worn if they don't look upscale enough.

If you're tired and want to hide (and don't want to use bright colors to adjust your mood), choose clothes that are lighter in color, softer, and made of nice fabrics that make you feel loved and cared for. Neutrals appear quiet without being serious, and dark colors make a tired face look even more tired.

However, black is a great base color, and you can layer it with bright colors, which I love so much. A black coat paired with a brighter color will look classy, stylish, and sophisticated, create a stark, very eye-catching contrast, and be confident enough to let you know you're not afraid to be noticed (because you have a good reason).

How to wear colors that don't suit you

Ideally, we never wear colors that don't suit us, but sometimes we inevitably have to wear colors that don't. Maybe you already have a few pieces of clothing that don't quite suit you but are otherwise good, and that isn't so bad that you want to throw them out altogether. Maybe you're going to be a bridesmaid at a best friend's wedding and you need to wear a mint green that's very inappropriate for you. (Friend, thank you!)

In this case, you need makeup and jewelry to find a little balance. If you really like an item of clothing, but the color of the dress doesn't suit you, you need to highlight the color of your lipstick (use a strong color on your face, this is the most effective method) and use a lipstick that suits your skin tone and clothes. You can also wear jewelry, and a rigid top can be paired with a larger, brighter, more vibrant necklace.

As you learn more about what colors represent, be sure to match them with the skin tone of your face.
